Trumbull County Residents Have 24-Hour Storm Cleanup Available Through SERVPRO

It was Father’s Day weekend and residents in Trumbull County, from Warren to Brookfield, found themselves cleaning up after not one, but two damaging storms.
The storms were only minutes apart and passed through the county with winds up to 100 miles per hour. The rain poured down and quickly changed directions from vertical to horizontal and uprooted many trees along the way.
Although there was no thunder or lightening, the wind was strong enough to knock trees down onto houses and cars, fences and power lines.
In addition to the forceful wind damage, the Warren area suffered from excessive stormwater runoff for weeks following the storm.
The National Weather Service reported 6.49 inches of rain for the month, making it the sixth-wettest June recorded in history.
Storms can happen anytime throughout the year; it is important to always be prepared and knowledgeable about how to stay safe during a storm.
